I'm a 21 year old student currently in my 3rd year studying Marketing, Advertising and PR in Birmingham. I'm Swiss-Austrian-South Korean, born in Switzerland however moved to Saudi Arabia at the age of two. Shortly after, I moved to beautiful Malaysia where I spent 12 years of my life and finally... Here I am in wonderful England.
I'm very grateful for my international background and being able to live in complete different countries with complete different cultures. It has with no doubt developped me into a well educated young lady that lives life to its fullest. I wouldn't change a single thing!
I must say, it is sometimes quite difficult to explain to someone where I am from. When someone in England asks me "Where are you from?", I simply answer with 'Malaysia". Imagine you had to say "My dad is Swiss/Austrian, my mum is South Korean but I've lived in Malaysia all my life" EVERY single time someone asks you. Hard work... and most of the time, they stop listening after the first second.
My moto for life has always been 'Work hard, Play hard". I feel like I do put a lot of effort into everything I do in life, especially in my studies at the moment. I'm getting more and more aware that it is increasingly getting difficult to get a good job. I am determined to be a wokring lady by September 2012! Fingers crossed!
